'3 Idiots' tops UK's X'mas viewings

London Aamir Khan starrer Hindi film "3 Idiots" has retained its position in the top 10 of the British box office in week two after eclipsing Hollywood's "Avatar" in Christmas viewing charts. The total overseas box office takings for the film so far is a record-breaking $10 million. In Britain, "3 Idiots" has grossed more than 1.115 million pounds ($1.8 million), and as the number one film on Christmas Day, out-grossing "Avatar", producers Reliance BIG Pictures said Wednesday. The film is Britain's highest grossing Bollywood film of 2009 and now the highest grossing Indian film ever to release in the US, beating the takings of "Om Shanti Om".
