Nick Lachey can't wait to be father

New York Singer Nick Lachey, expecting his first child with wife Vanessa, can't wait to enter fatherhood.

"I can't even explain how excited I am. For someone who has wanted a family for such a long time, I've looked forward to this moment," people.com quoted Lachey as saying.

"Maybe it's because this is my first, but I'm looking forward to the lack of sleep - everything. I don't care. I'm excited to do the whole process," he added.

Lachey, however, admits he isn't quite looking forward to the idea of changing dirty nappies.

"I'm willing to change diapers. But I'm not necessarily excited to change diapers," he said.
